Black-tailed Native Hen
Had a lovely afternoon at the Alice Springs Waste Stabilisation Plant with my youngest son, Moses. This was a first for him and it was wonderful to sit on the seat near the Date Palm and watch this bird, which Moses described as a "black chook"!
