Black-tailed Native Hen
Had a lovely afternoon at the Alice Springs Waste Stabilisation Plant with my youngest son, Moses. This was a first for him and it was wonderful to sit on the seat near the Date Palm and watch this bird, which Moses described as a "black chook"!

White-necked Heron
This white-necked heron was at Ormiston Gorge, about 130 kms west of Alice Springs. The past 18 months have seen a lot of rain compared to normal around this area, but the waterhole at Ormiston Gorge is a permanent waterhole attracting lots of birds and other animals.

Hooded Robin
This Hooded Robin was filmed on the Hugh River, about 45 minutes drive west from Alice Springs on the road to Glen Helen.
